Rnd 2: Ch 4. (sk next st, sc in next st, ch 4) 9 times. Sc in joining sl st of Rnd 1. (10 sc & 10 ch-4 lps)
Rnd 3: *4 sc, p, 3 sc in next lp. 4 sc, pcl, 3 sc in next lp.* Repeat from * to * around. Join in 1st sc. Fasten off. (5 p, 5 pcl)
Rnd 4: Join with sc in 1st p. Ch 5, *sl st in top of pcl, ch 5, sc in p, ch 5.* Repeat from * to * around. Join in 1st sc. (10 ch-5 lps)
Rnd 5: Ch 4 (counts as hdc, ch 2). *(3 sc, ch 5) 3 times in next ch-5 lp. (3 sc, ch 5) 2 times, 3 sc in next ch-5 lp. Ch 2, hdc in next sc, ch 2.* Repeat from * to * around. Join in 2nd ch of beg ch-4.
Rnd 6: *(Ch 5, sc in next ch-5 lp) to hdc. Ch 5, sl st in hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to joining sl st of Rnd 5.
Rnd 7: Sl st into next lp. Ch 1, sc in same lp. *(4 dc p, 3 dc) in next lp. sc in next lp. (4 dc, pcl, 3 dc) in next lp. Sc in next lp.* Repeat from * to * around to last lp. (4 dc, p, 3 dc) in last lp. Join in 1st sc. Fasten off.
Ribbon:
Row 1: With RS facing, join in last p made on Rnd 7 of doily. Sc in next p. Turn. (2 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in ea sc. Turn. (4 sc)
Rows 3-4: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st sc, sc across to last sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. (8 sc at end of Row 4)
Rows 5-8: Ch 1, sc in ea sc. Turn.
Row 9: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), sk next sc, dc in next sc, ch 2, sk 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, dc in last sc. Turn.
Rows 10-40: Ch 4, dc in next dc, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in 3rd ch of ch-4. Turn.
Row 41: Ch 1, sc in ea st and sp across, with 2 sc in ch-2 sp. Turn.
Rows 42-44: Ch 1, sc in ea sc. Turn.
Rows 45-47: Ch 1, sc dec, sc across to last 2 sc, sc dec. Turn. (2 sc at end of Row 47)
Row 48: Ch 1, sc dec. (1 sc) Fasten off.
Edging:
With RS facing, join with sc in same p where you started the ribbon. Sc evenly along row ends. (sc, ch 5, sc) in Row 48. Sc evenly along row ends and in 1st p on doily. Fasten off.
Block if desired.
Tassel:
Cut five 6" lengths of thread. Attach to ch-5 lp at bottom with a larkshead knot. Trim to desired length.
