Patterns by CCC: Pacifier Tethers
Tether:
Ch 71. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each rem ch to last ch. 3 sc in last ch. Working  unused lps of starting ch, sc in each ch. Do not join. Fasten off.
Using sewing needle and thread, securely sew snaps as follows:
Ring-type pacifier:
1. Sew one side of snap set to rounded end of tether.
2. Sew the second side of snap set 1 inch from end of tether, making sure the snaps are on the same side of the tether line.

Button-type pacifier:
1. Sew one side of snap set to rounded end of tether.
2. Wrap tether end around the pacifier button and mark st where tether is snug around button.
3. Sew the second side of snap set at the marked st, making sure the snaps are on opposite sides of the tether line.

Flower Motif
With Grape, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join in first sc with a sl st.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in ea sc around. Join.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, (1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) to last sc. Sc in last sc. Join.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, (1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) to last 2 sc. Sc in last 2 sc. Join. Fasten off Grape, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Join Serenity with a sl st in any sc.
Rnd 5: (Ch 3, dc dec over same sc and next sc. Ch 3, sl st in same sc, sl st in next sc) around. Fasten off.

Work Tether in Sage, sewing snaps for either ring-type or button-type pacifier.
With tapestry needle and long end of Grape, securely sew pin back and 1 inch of Tether to center of Flower.

Car Motif
With Red, ch 11.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each rem ch. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in 9 sc, sl st in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sk 1st st, sc in next 8 sc, sl st in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sk first st, sc in next sc, dc in next 2 sc, 2 tr in next sc, tr in next sc, hdc in next sc. Fasten off Red, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Working in rem lps of starting ch, join Black with sl st in 3rd ch.

Wheel: (Ch 2, dc) in same ch as joining. In next ch work (dc, ch 2, sl st). Fasten off.
<br>Skip 2 chs. Join Black with sl st in next ch. Work Wheel as before.
When weaving in ends of wheels, weave the joining end toward the last st made, and the other end toward the joining sl st. This will pull the sides of the wheels and give them a rounded appearance.

Work Tether in Black, sewing snaps for either ring-type or button-type pacifier.
With tapestry needle and long end of Red, securely sew pin back and 1 inch of Tether to center of Car.

Pin Back
One set of sew-on snaps
Tapestry needle
Sewing needle and thread
Gauge is not important, but make sure that your tether is no longer than 15? long for safety.
Special Stitch:
Dc dec: (YO, insert hook into indicated stitch, draw up a loop, YO, draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. YO and draw through all loops on hook.
